IF rebar prices corrected across regions today. Dull purchase enquiries and lower transactions in the spot market were observed over the last few days and sponge iron and billet prices corrected sharply. Traders are in wait-and-watch mode, procuring material as per needs at current high price levels owing to weak sentiments in the finished steel segment. Faced with selling pressure, manufacturers are keeping offers lower.
