On 21-22 Apr’22, auto component producers in western India conducted auctions for around 2,000 t of mild steel melting/component scrap. The entire quantity was booked at INR 49,950-50,100/t on ex-works basis. Moreover, a producer based in north India received bids at an auction for 150 t stainless steel scrap at INR 64,100/t exw, while another auction for CR busheling scrap from Rajasthan received bids at INR 52,600/t exw.
