India: Aluminium scrap prices remain largely stable

Aluminium scrap prices remained mostly stable d-o-d. Tense scrap prices were unchanged for the third consecutive day on 19 Apr’22, SteelMint assessment shows. Aluminium tense scrap prices are assessed at INR 174,000/t ($2,274/t) exy-Delhi, excluding GST. Market participants anticipate that the near-term price range is likely to stay rangebound despite marginal improvement at exchange prices like MCX, LME, SHFE on a d-o-d basis.
