South Korea: Hyundai Steel trims domestic scrap purchase prices by $4/t

South Korea’s major steel mill, Hyundai Steel, is set to lower its scrap purchase price on 19 Apr’22 for its Pohang works, as per Steel Daily.
The company cut the purchase price of all grades of steel scrap by KRW 5,000/t ($4/t).
However, the company’s bids for imported Japanese scrap remained unchanged.
