South Korea: Ferro silicon imports surge m-o-m in Mar’22

South Korea recorded a sharp 62% m-o-m increase in ferro silicon imports at 21,936 t in Mar’22. The overall import volumes surged mainly due to an increase in shipments from Malaysia by 192% m-o-m and China by 83% m-o-m. Meanwhile, total imports in Q1CY22 declined by 13% y-o-y.
