Switzerland tightens Russia sanctions, bans coal imports

Along with other major European countries, Switzerland also imposed sanctions on Russia which include ban on coal imports. The sanctions have also been imposed against Russian ally Belarus. However, the ban on road and sea transportation to the EU has been lifted due to its geographical location as it connects the Russian roadways with the rest of Europe.
