Crude steel output of key Chinese mills decreases slightly in early April – CISA data

The average daily output of crude steel at mills affiliated to the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) in early Apr’22 was 2.224 mnt. In the first 10 days of April, the average daily steel output was 2.08 mnt, down 1.34% m-o-m and 0.12% y-o-y. The average daily output of pig iron at key enterprises was 1.96 mnt, an increase of 5.65% m-o-m and 0.18% y-o-y.
