India: Aluminium scrap import prices fall as LME 3-month prices edge lower

Aluminium scrap import offers declined by up to $170/t following a correction in LME three-month prices w-o-w. The market saw divergent sentiments as most buyers are not rushing to procure regular quantities as prices keep fluctuating. Seller sources shared that a few needs-based transactions have been concluded. Middle East aluminium scrap tense (5-6%) offers are assessed at $2,000-2,020/t and Taint Tabor clean briquette at $2,470-2,500/t CIF Nhava Sheva.
