South Africa: Tshipi’s manganese ore production falls by over 14% in Q4FY’22

Manganese ore production of Tshipi’s South African mines stood at 775,114 dmt in Q4FY’22 (Dec’21-Feb’22), down 14.8% q-o-q. The production volume dropped due to heavy rains in Jan and Feb. Meanwhile, sales volumes dropped around 11% y-o-y to 752,518 dmt in FY’22, with an average sales price of $4.55/dmtu CIF China.
