Khouzestan Steel Company (KSC) has floated an export tender for 50,000 t of billets, the shipment for which is scheduled for end-May’22. Iran’s billets exports are likely to regain momentum as mills return to the market after Nowruz (Persian New Year) holidays. Iran’s finished steel exports in the first 11 months of the Persian Year (Mar’21-Feb’22) stood at 3 mnt, up 14% compared to the year-ago period.
