- India’s imported scrap market remained largely inactive, although a limited number of deals for heavy melting scrap (HMS) were observed, as per SteelMint sources.
- 300 t of HMS-1 deals from the UAE were heard at $585/t CFR Nhava Sheva. Current offers are being heard at $580-590/t CFR Nhava Sheva, down $3/t d-o-d.
- Containerised shredded scrap offers from the UK are at around $660/t CFR Nhava Sheva.
