MRPL increased pet coke prices for road supply by INR 3,070/t to INR 16,500/t for Apr’22 in line with RIL and major other refineries. The prices for rail supply also increased to INR 16,200/t. The price variation of MRPL and RIL stands at INR 5,316/t, the highest in the last 12 months. The increase in pet coke prices comes amid elevated thermal coal prices.
