Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) held an auction for 900 t of steel grade pig iron (by road) on 29 Mar’22 from its IISCO steel plant in West Bengal. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 59,800/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices decreased by INR 1,250/t in comparison with the previous auction held on 21 March.
