India: Aluminium scrap import offers rise by up to $90/t

Aluminium scrap import offers gained by around $30-90/t w-o-w following surge in LME prices. Trader sources informed that buyers seem to be wary amid the continuous fluctuation in exchange prices and are preferring to wait till next week as the financial year is drawing to a close. Middle East aluminium scrap tense (5-6%) offers are assessed at $2,245-2,260/t, Taint Tabor clean briquette at $2,635-2,655/t, extrusion briquette at $3,055-3,075/t and Wheels at $3,370-3,400/t CIF Nhava Sheva.
