Induction furnace route rebar manufacturers at Jalna in western India have lowered offers today by INR 2,000/t. Current offers for 10-25mm rebar are at INR 66,500/t exw. Weak buying enquiries and modest transactions in rebar in the spot market over the last few days and rising inventories at mills forced manufacturers to reduce offers, sources told SteelMint.
