Crude steel output of key Chinese mills rebounds in mid-March – CISA data

In mid-Mar’22, the average daily crude steel output of CISA mills stood at 2.04 mnt and the daily output of steel was 2.01 mnt, an increase of 5.17% m-o-m, data from the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) shows. The daily output of pig iron in key enterprises was recorded at 1.79 mnt in mid-March, up 3.05% m-o-m but down 6.12% y-o-y.
