Aluminium tense scrap prices fell by INR 1,000/t despite the rebound in the LME three-month future contract by more than 3.5% over the previous closing. Trader sources believe that the rise in prices is likely due to strong overseas scrap offers along with the strengthening exchange. Aluminium tense scrap prices are assessed at INR 175,000/t exy Delhi, excluding GST.
