Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur, central India, have increased prices by INR 2,000/t over the last couple of days. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 65,000/t exw. Prices remain supported on higher billet prices while trades in structural steel in the spot market remain limited. Trade discounts offered by the suppliers are at INR 500-700/t.
