- Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO) increased prices of primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) by INR 7,750/t ($102/t) d-o-d on 19 Mar’22. The effective price stands at INR 296,250/t ($3,893/t) exw.
- The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME stood at $3,381/t on 18 March as against $3,384/t the day before.
- The company has a production capacity of around 0.6 mnt per annum and accounts for 15% domestic market share.
