India: About 10,000 t of sponge iron sold in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Sponge iron demand improved in Raipur, following which prices of sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) rose by INR 800/t to 40,800/t exw Raipur, as per SteelMint assessment.
About 6,700 t of deals were reported at INR 40,400-41,000/t exw for FeM 80% material. Deals for 3,100 t were concluded by mills based outside the state at INR 39,800-40,300/t DAP Raipur for FeM 78% material.
DR CLO grade sponge iron was traded at INR 43,500-43,800/t exw.
