China: Crude steel production of key steel mills drops in early Mar’22

The average daily output of crude steel at CISA mills stood at 1.95 mnt in early Mar’22. In the first 10 days of the month, the daily output of key steel enterprises was 1.91 mnt, down 8.47% from the previous 10-day period and down 10.16% from the same period last year. The daily output of pig iron in early March was 1.74 mnt, down 4.7% m-o-m.
