China: Crude steel production key mills rise significantly in late Feb’22

The average daily output of crude steel by key steel enterprises was 2.07 mnt in late Feb’22 and in the second half of Feb the daily output stood at 2.09 mnt, an increase of 15.57% m-o-m, CISA statistic shows. The average daily output of pig iron in late Feb stood at 1.82 mnt, an increase of 8.65% m-o-m. However, production decreased by 10.74% y-o-y.
