- Deals of about four rakes of sponge iron were reportedly concluded at $515-520/t LTW – eastern India, equivalent to $540-545/t CPT Nepal (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%).
- Following the uptrend in the Indian market, export offers to Bangladesh also surged to a record-high since January 2017. Fresh offers are floated at around $540/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $570/t CFR Chittagong, (FeM 80%, lumps 100%). About 2,000 t deals were reported to Bangladesh recently.
