Turkey: Imported scrap prices continue to rise in recent trades

  • Turkish deepsea ferrous scrap import prices increased further by $2/t d-o-d as fresh cargo from the USA was booked by a Turkish mill, sources informed SteelMint.
  • The cargo comprising HMS 1/2 (80:20) was booked at $520/t CFR Turkey.
  • The cargo was booked by a mill based in the Mediterranean region.
