ArcelorMittal Europe has announced a significant hike of Euro 180/t ($200/t) in hot-rolled coil (HRCs) prices for domestic sales effective 1 Mar’22. Escalating geopolitical tension between Russia and Ukraine, rising power costs and disruption in trade activities have pushed prices higher. European mills are likely to target prices of CRC at Euro 1,250/t ($1,389/t) and HDGI at Euro 1,300/t ($1,445/t).
