On 26 Feb’22, coal prices in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, increased by 22% d-o-d. 4500 gross calorific value (GCV) run of mine (ROM) coal is assessed at INR 11,250/t, while 5000 GCV ROM coal prices are at INR 12,500/t. Prices increased because of limited supply of coal as SECL didn’t conduct an auction this month. The last auction was held in Jan.
