MSTC, on behalf of Sandur Mines (SMIORE), Karnataka, has issued a notice for an auction of 22,890 t of manganese ore varying in grades between Mn 26-44% to be held on 24 Feb’22. The company has reduced the base price by 29% for Mn 30-32% material compared to the previous auction despite an increase in imported manganese ore prices. The high inventory level combined with increased selling pressure forced Sandur Mines to decrease the base price.
