Iran: Steel consumption falls y-o-y in Mar’21-Jan’22

Iran’s steel consumption decreased significantly during the first ten months of the current Persian year (Mar’21-Jan’22), according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).

• Finished steel consumption decreased by 9%, y-o-y.
• Flat steel consumption fell by 7% and that of longs by 8%, y-o-y.
