Vietnam’s leading steel mill Hoa Phat recorded construction steel output at 382,000 t in Jan’22, almost double y-o-y. The company sold 631,000 t of steel products (semis, longs and flats) last month of which exports stood at 116,000 t. The company has an annual production capacity of more than 8 mnt of which 5 mnt is construction steel and 3 mnt is hot rolled coil.
