India: Hindalco hikes aluminium ingots prices by INR 2,500/t ($33/t)

Leading aluminium producer, Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) has raised prices of aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) late yesterday by INR 2,500/t ($33/t) on a d-o-d basis.
Post the revision, the effective price stands at INR 282,250/t ($3,771/t).
Prices are showing an uptrend, following a rise in global aluminium prices.
