Indian bulk HRC export shipments rise 23%, m-o-m, in Jan’22

Indian bulk HRC export volumes stood at 462,336 t in Jan’22, a significant increase of 23% against 377,290 t a month ago, as per vessel line up data maintained with SteelMint. On an annualised basis, exports saw a whooping 102% increase against 228,599 t in Jan’21.

Most of the exports were made to the Gulf countries amounting to 232,014 mnt, followed by the EU at 82,450 mnt and Southeast Asia at 82,203 mn t in Jan’22.
