Vedanta Group is inviting bid for purchase of domestic origin Steam Coal.
Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), a Vedanta Group company, setting up Thermal Power Project in Punjab. The company invites bid for purchase of Steam Coal (Non-coking) of domestic origin on FoR basis at plant site.
The company is looking for contract through this Expression of Interest (EoI).
Eligibility
- Bidders should be regular supplier for bulk quantity of Steam Coal and having experience of supplying 0.1 MnT Steam Coal in any 1 year during past 3 years
- They have also experience of handling 0.1 MnT Coal movement of Cargo through Indian Railways
- Bidder’s average annual turnover in the preceding 3 financial years as on the date of bid submission should not be less than INR 0.75 billion or in equivalent foreign currency and net worth of preceding last year should not be less than INR 3 billion

- GCV (GAR): 3,500-4,500 Kcal/kg
- Ash: less than 34%
- Volatile Matter (GAR): 22-30%
- Total Moisture (GAR): less than 12%
- Sulphur: less than 0.5%
Total Quantity: 0.3 MnT
Unloading: From rail wagons to plant site shall be arranged by TSPL.
