Bangladesh: Bulk ferrous scrap imports up 15%, m-o-m, in Jan

Bangladesh’s bulk ferrous scrap imports rose by 15% to 0.23 mnt in Jan’22 vis-a-vis 0.2 mnt in Dec, as per SteelMint data.
The UK was the top exporter with 91,844 t followed by the Netherlands with 38,499 t.
On a yearly basis, scrap imports decreased by 18% against 0.28 mnt in Jan’21.
