India: Maruti Suzuki delivers stable production figures for Jan’22

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL) recorded total production of 1,61,383 units in Jan’22, up 0.25% y-o-y from 1,60,975 units in the year-ago period. However, the company’s total production rose by 6.15% against 152,029 units produced in Dec. “The shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles during the month,” SteelMint learnt from company sources.
