Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) had scheduled an iron ore fines auction (Fe 60-62%) on 1 Feb’22 in which out of a total of 80,000 t of material, 79,000 t (99%) received bids. The auction received flat bids i.e. in line with the base price of INR 4,000/t ex-mines, including royalty, DMF and NMET. The state-run miner had increased the base price for fines by up to INR 300/t against the last auction on 15 Jan’22.
