IF re-bar prices remained stable in major markets today. However, in a few markets in the southern and western regions, manufacturers tried to increase prices by up to INR 600/t, d-o-d, but limited buying enquiries in the spot market didn’t support the price hike. Moderate transactions over the last couple of days have lent some support to sellers to maintain current price levels, SteelMint learnt from sources.
