The domestic induction furnace rebar market witnessed mixed trends today, with minor correction in prices at a few locations by INR 100-300/t d-o-d and prices remaining supported in other markets as manufacturers sought to keep offers high. However, a fall in semi-finished steel prices and weak market sentiment impacted rebar buying enquiries and transactions in the spot market fell on higher prices, SteelMint notes.
