A few mills in Raipur raised heavy structural steel prices by INR 500/t today, while some other mills had hiked prices by a similar level yesterday evening. The current offer for 150 mm channel stands at INR 51,500/t exw with trade discounts hovering at INR 700-1,000/t. Rising steel billet prices and improved trade enquiries yesterday boosted prices, SteelMint notes.
