India: JSW’s crude steel output rises by 8% in Q3FY’22

JSW Steel’s crude steel output in Q3FY’22 stood at 4.41 mn t at a capacity utilisation rate of 94%. Volumes rose by 8% against 4.10 mn t in Q2 and 4.08 mn t in the same period last year. The Dolvi Phase 2 expansion added 180,000 t to the Q3 figures, while Bhushan Power and Steel Ltd. (BPSL) churned out 0.64 mn  t of steel in Q3, down 7% q-o-q.
