Domestic steel wire rod manufacturers cut prices in Raipur by INR 400/t d-o-d to INR 47,600/t exw. With the fall in base offers, traders also cut discounts in the spot market currently hovering at INR 800-1,000/t. Rise in steel billet prices enabled suppliers to reduce discounts, while trade enquiries rose moderately on lower prices.
