India: HRC trade prices rise by up to INR 600/t, w-o-w

SteelMint’s benchmark assessment for hot-rolled coils (HRC) (IS 2062, 2.5-8mm) has increased by up to INR 600/t ($8/t) in the key retail markets of Mumbai and Faridabad.

Current prices on ex-yard basis:

• Mumbai : INR 63,000-64,000/t ($846-860/t)
• Faridabad : INR 62,500-63,500/t ($839-853/t)
• The prices mentioned do not include GST at 18%.
