Jindal Steel and Power Ltd’s (JSPL) steel production stood around 1.96 mn t, while sales were at 1.82 mn t in Q3FY’22 (Oct-Dec’21), as per latest reports. Production volumes have increased by 2% on both quarterly and annual bases. However, sales volumes dropped by 15% q-o-q because of limited rake availability and erratic rainfall in several regions.
In 9M FY’22, the company churned out 5.90 mn t of steel.
