Brazil: Iron ore exports up 8%, m-o-m, in Dec’21

Brazil’s iron ore export volumes in Dec’21 increased by 8% m-o-m to 31.43 mn t compared to 28.99 mn t in Nov, according to Brazil customs data.
On a year-on-year basis, exports decreased marginally against 33.17 mn t in Dec’20.
The average price of iron ore exported from Brazil in Dec stood at $76.5/t on FOB basis.
