Bangladesh: Bulk ferrous scrap imports fall marginally in Dec’21

Bangladesh’s bulk ferrous scrap imports were down by 5% to 0.2 mn t in Dec’21 vis-a-vis 0.21 mn t in Nov’21, as per SteelMint data.
The US was the top exporter to Bangladesh with 0.12 mn t in Dec’21 followed by the UK with 0.04 mn t, respectively.
On a yearly basis, scrap imports have shown a 33% decrease as against 0.3 mn t in Dec’20.
