China’s Top 7 Coke Producing Provinces in Jan-Nov’21

Shanxi was the largest coke-producing province in China in Jan-Nov’21 with 91 million tonnes (mn t). But, compared to last year, Shanxi’s production fell by 6% y-o-y. Inner Mongolia is the second-largest coke-producing province with 43 mn t, up 12% y-o-y followed by Shaanxi province in third place with 40 mn t, down 13% y-o-y. It is to be noted that China’s total coke production in Jan-Nov’21 reached 428 mn t, down 2% y-o-y.
