Melting scrap prices witnessed slight fluctuations across markets today. Prices inched down by INR 600/t, especially in the Alang market on account of lack of trading in semi-finished material in the nearby markets. Meanwhile, other western and south India-based markets also saw a price correction. However, in the central and northern regions prices edged higher or remained stable on a d-o-d basis.
