Ramgarh-based steel mills concluded around 3,200 t of billet deals at INR 41,600-41,700/t out of which 1,000 t was confirmed to have been sold to Jaipur on ex-plant basis (freight cost to Jaipur is INR 1,800/t via road).
Around 2,500 t of pellet-based sponge iron (P-DRI) was sold at INR 27,800-27,900/t exw, with the payment condition of 100% advance.
