Prices of iron ore concentrates (Fe 63%) in Jabalpur, central India, remained stable at INR 4,100/t exw. A deal for 10,000 t of concentrates was heard to be concluded at INR 4,300/t exw. However, buyers expect a downward price correction in the next round of deals. SteelMint’s weekly Odisha iron ore fines index (Fe 62%) fell sharply by INR 550/t, w-o-w, to INR 4,500/t ex-mines.
