China: Ferrous scrap imports rise during Jan-Nov’21

China imported 478,280 t of ferrous scrap in Jan-Nov’21. Imports by China rose sharply on a yearly basis as against 21,900 t in Jan-Nov’20, as per Steelmint data.
Japan retained its position as the leading ferrous scrap exporter to China with 341,336 t, followed by South Korea and Hong Kong with 90,291 t and 12,820 t, respectively in Jan-Nov’21.
