Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 100,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 59.8%-indicative) from its Barsua iron ore mines in Odisha. The steelmaker received bids for the total material offered at INR 2,750/t (ex-mines, including royalty, DMF, NMET and additional premium), SteelMint gathered from sources.
